Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church is dedicated to "Touching the Community." The Outreach and Evangelism Team works diligently to bring Mark 16:15 to life:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Through this ministry, our church takes the Gospel to people, as well as bring people to the Gospel.  The basic events include evangelism, community events, and mission projects.

​​​We are also very active in supporting foreign missions.  Bro. Bob Sanford retired recently from his very active Tanzania mission travels, however, Pastor Dan boatman will continue to visit Africa to help and support the Moshi people.  We are raising funds for a new well for the Moshi people.  If you would like to donate to the well fund, please click the DONATE button from our home page.

Steve & Kim Battles work with Unsheltered International to serve homeless children in the United States and the Philippines where they share the Gospel and provide much needed medical care and daily necessities.  

​We also have a Missions Conference annually the last week of September where we have a different preacher each service.  And, missionaries join us to speak about their efforts and needs in the mission field where they work.

​Our Helping Hands group actively supports members and church goers by taking meals to them in time of need whether it be from sickness or death in the family.  If you would like to be a part of this group, please contact Jammie Osborn at 205-466-7983.
