Have you ever had that experience when God placed a bible study in your hands just at the right time? Our pastor was preaching a sermon at a revival and mentioned a book that was at the top of his reading list called Radical by David Platt. I am somewhat of a book nerd so I jumped all over the chance to read this book. It was a good book and as I neared the end, as I do with most books, I was thinking about what am I going to read next. I was in the last chapter of the book and read a list of things that the author suggested that I, the reader, do in the next year. I thought that the list was pretty good and so I wrote it down in my journal. I remember thinking that it probably wasn't possible for me to do some of those things because at the time I worked a full time job about 30 miles from home. Most of my time was spent at work or running my three children around to different sporting events, music lessons, or church clubs. But, maybe I could try it, eventually.
Then, suddenly, the list started unfolding without my trying to do anything on the list. God had taken over. Here's the list and what happened in the past 11 months:
